Ultimate Frogger

Whoever created frogger must have first come to this city for inspiration! Honestly it is as close to the game frogger as you can get. As a pedestrian, just make your way across the street between the gaps in the traffic. While in traffic, same rules apply! So today I spent much of the day riding on the back of a moto with a personal tour guide, Phanay. He took me to the stealer's market (if you have something stolen, go there and you will find it for sale) where I picked up a new to me cell phone, SIM card, camera battery and battery charger. Now that I was hooked up, I could relax a bit without worrying my family too much. We then had lunch at a street vendor where I had my first taste of Khmer food, which I must say is quite tasty! Later we went to Prison S-21, which is associated with the killing fields and the genocide of the Pol Pot regime. There is no limit to human cruelty, but they did come close. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I really got a feel for the city riding around the moto, and there are a few more things to see before I ship out of town. Phanay also took me to his English class where I got to speak with a few of his students who asked me basic questions one would know when just learning English. It was a fun being the teacher for once, I held a captive audience! Cute kids the lot of them, and of the 20 or so, only 3 guys. We also went by what I could describe as a wedding factory. There was a giant warehouse-like building that had bays A-N or O. Each one had a setup that could hold a few weddings simultaneously, and they were all going on at the same time! Streamlined effort, still looked quite good, and costs a lot less than the typical wedding back in the States. There's something to be said about that! Okay, I've been sweating all day and am quite tired. Time for shower then bed, in that order!

ps - pics in reverse order :-(
